Belle and Sebastian – “We Were Beautiful”

Belle and Sebastian’s first new recordings since ‘Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance’ start to nudge their way into your consciousness with this morning’s surprise release of the single, “We Were Beautiful” (produced by Brian McNeill and Belle and Sebastian at Banchory Glasgow and Rocket Science Studio). Said release coincides with Belle and Sebastian’s current Summer tour of North America which commenced last night in Toronto and continues with rather massive events including but not limited to the Panorama Festival in NYC (tomorrow), Montreal’s Osheaga Festival, and an August 6 appearance at the Hollywood Bowl alongside Spoon.
