Savages return to New York

January 2015 sees Savages return to New York for a run of live gigs across the city, showcasing new material written since April 2014 when the band finished their worldwide touring for Silence Yourself and started writing new material for their forthcoming second LP. On writing the new material, the band say:

“We believe in movement initiating sound as well as sound initiating movement. The power of migration to inspire new sonic metamorphosis. The incessant commutation of bodies across the globe resulting in the transformation of art and music”

Monday, January 12 – Baby’s All Right, Brooklyn, NY
Wednesday, January 14 – Mercury Lounge, New York, NY
Saturday, January 17 – Saint Vitus, Brooklyn, NY

Leading up to these dates the band play a sold out London show with Bo Ningen next week, performing their 37 minute “Words To The Blind” (out November 17th via Stolen Recordings/Pop Noire) on November 19th at Oval Space.
