Listen to DARKSIDE’s Psychic in full now

By Robby on Monday, September 30th, 2013

Unless you were one of the lucky 700 or so to get a very early preview of DARKSIDE‘s Psychic in lower Manhattan a month ago, prepare yourself for your first listen of the fortcoming album from Nicolas Jaar & Dave Harrington.
And frankly, I’m a bit jealous that you’re now about to experience the same exhilarating feeling we all did when we heard this album for the first time. Other People and NPR ‘First Listen’ have the stream. Dig in.

Pre-order DARKSIDE Psychic (out October 8, 2013 via Other People & Matador Records)

“Ambulancer” – A New Song From Lee Ranaldo & The Dust

By Nils on Friday, September 27th, 2013

Lee Ranaldo and his faithful Dust (Steve Shelley, Alan Licht, and Tim Luntzel) revealed the second song of their forthcoming LP “Last Night On Earth” today via Rolling Stone:

Lee tells RS that the song originated acoustically and resembling Neil Young’s “Ambulance Blues,” before morphing & expanding (as most of the songs on this album do) into a beautifully turbulent, darkly melodic guitar freakout.

You can also check out another album track, “Lecce, Leaving,” HERE. “Last Night On Earth” is out October 8.
