Watchers of this space most likely already know that Yo La Tengo’s new album, Fade, is out in just a few short days (and is available for pre-order here). What you may not know is that TODAY, January 11, as part of WXPN’s aptly-named Free At Noon concert series, Georgia, Ira & James will be taking the stage to perform for the citizens of Philadelphia at World Cafe Live. Don’t live in Philly? Have to work? You’re in luck, because there is a plethora of ways to hear the show live as it happens on the radio and the internet, to wit:

WXPN Philadelphia (88.5 FM, 88.7 FM in York/Lancaster, Harrisburg at 99.7 FM, in the Lehigh Valley at 104.9 FM)
KUT in Austin, Texas (90.5)
WBFO in Buffalo, NY (88.7 FM)
WITH in Ithaca, NY (90.1 FM)
WRUR in Rochester, NY (88.5 FM)
WKHS Worton/Baltimore, MD (90.5 FM)
Vermont Public Radio

and streaming online on XPN.org and NPR.org.

You’re all out of excuses, then. Bat For Lashes opens the show at noon EST, followed by Yo La Tengo right after.

And don’t forget, Yo La Tengo have a huge world tour beginning later in January. All dates, as well as info on their free west coast  in-store tour after the jump.
