Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks – “Surreal Teenagers”, taped at NBC/Fallon, But Not On TV (Or The New Album)

August 31st, 2011 at 2:35 am by Gerard

The previously unheard “Surreal Teenagers”, not from the week-old and universally lauded ‘Mirror Traffic’, but pretty amazing just the same. ¬† Video courtesy NBC and “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”. ¬†Special thanks for an excellent television Tuesday night to Amy Sedaris, who raised the bar for all other talk show guests to such ridiculous heights, you might start reading about mass cancellations on other programs (EXCEPT THOSE THAT BOOK OUR DESERVING BANDS, JUST KIDDING ETC.)

Any plans for singles or bsides from this album? I remember reading that there wasn’t “enough” material for a Buy Early Get Now for the new LP, but now Im listening to “polvo” http://mountterror.tumblr.com/post/9568675819/stephen-malkmus-and-the-jicks-polvo-this-is

I’d be happy to buy a download!
