One More Schedule Change For Matador At 21; Harlem & Dead Meadow Playing Late Friday, Saturday Repsectively

September 29th, 2010 at 11:41 am by Gerard

Harlem (above, left) are playing the Palms Ballroom Friday after Fucked Up vs. Ted Leo & The Pharmacists ; Dead Meadow (right) are playing the same room late Saturday after Esben and the Witch and Cold Cave. We’re NO LONGER featuring a Saturday afternoon Harlem/Dead Meadow matinee.

It’s a long story but we came to the conclusion a 1:30pm start time on Saturday was a bad bad bad deal for the participants and everyone who’d been rocking Friday night combined. Our apologies for any inconvenience. Also, the event is now officially totally sold sold.

Do you feel 100% confident about the Sunday matinee still?

  2. Gerard Says:

sunday matinee is a-ok and we’re looking forward to it. We got the very strong impression neither the bands nor the attendees were particularly psyched about the 1:30pm start time on Saturday. Conversely, there’s been a lot of excitement over Sunday afternoon. We can’t please everyone but we are trying to listen…

Cool. More time to nurse a hangover at the blackjack & poker tables. And maybe now we can have that proposed bowling meetup at the Gold Coast on saturday afternoon?

  4. Dylan Says:

We have one extra GA ticket left, asking $250, which is a few bucks under what we paid. We arrive Friday afternoon between 1 and 3pm and can swap after getting the tickets. Cash only please. dbuck0808@gmail.com

A bunch of us are going bowling over at Gold Coast across the street during the now vacated Saturday slot from 12:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. Lane 21+.

Sorry I missed Dead Meadow, but the Harlem show was pretty epic. Great band.
