Perfume Genius live session

On June 21, Matador released the debut full-length from Perfume Genius, Learning. You can buy that album here, and stream it at the band’s MySpace page.

Today, with our friends at Pitchfork, we’re happy to bring you a series of live Perfume Genius video clips, shot last month in Seattle by Jason Reid, Darren Lund and Ian Connors. The session will live in its entirety here, forever. Below, please enjoy arresting takes on album tracks “Mr. Peterson”, “Learning”, “Lookout, Lookout” and “Never Did”:

Perfume Genius will perform two live dates in New York City this month, with more shows to follow shortly:

Tuesday 20 – New York, NY – 92Y Tribeca
Friday 23 – Brooklyn, NY – Glasslands

This is just another leg of them traveling around the world promoting and touring behind their incredible record Subiza which came out in June and is still reaching more and more people. Look out for the album’s second single, “Real Love”, and some remixes in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime, Delorean’s tour carries them through a sold out show in NYC, up the East Coast and finally onto the Pitchfork Festival in Chicago where we’re all going to eat a bunch hot-dogs wear cubs hats and get WILD. Igor is READY
